Imagine the haunting cry of a loon piercing the morning silence as your canoe moves silently through the calm, mist covered waters of a wilderness lake. To your left a majestic moose is grazing peacefully in the near shore shallows, and just beyond him a bald eagle watches your passage with keen interest.

A strange peaceful harmony has swept through you, a harmony that you have not experienced for a very long time. This is a world that you forgot existed, a world that lives and breathes with the natural rhythms of creation. You are feeling very glad to be alive, and even happier that you're here.

These are fun filled wilderness canoe trips into exhilarating wilderness areas in Algonquin Park interior, within three hours from Toronto. Everything you need for this guided trip will be supplied, including canoes, tents, gear, food and waterproof canoe packs. You need only bring your clothes and personal items including a sleeping bag.

Not only will you experience the majesty of Canada's wilderness in Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada but also improve your paddling and wilderness skills as our ORCKA certified guides / instructors lead you on a wilderness odyssey that will be the highlight of your summer. You will have the opportunity to experience equipment and techniques that will ensure that your encounter with nature will be a safe, dry, warm and comfortable one.

We'll travel in modern light weight canoes, camp in wilderness sites, sleep in comfortable two person tents, bake fresh breads and goodies right in camp and eat like royalty. You will see what equipment works very well and what to leave behind. This will be an event that will change and enhance your experience of canoe wilderness travel forever more.
